Things I learned today! (or re-learned.... and maybe not TODAY exactly, but RECENTLY)
- So I ordered a tripod to go with my WHIZ-BANG-GOLLY-GEE-WHIZ-TINY-TINY-NEW camera...and I THOUGHT it was 5 inches tall, but it is 5 FEET TALL. Yes. It is AS TALL AS ME, and much much MUCH bigger then the camera.
LESSON: 5' is NOT THE SAME as 5"
- Having an emergency 'serious jacket to keep at work' is a good idea for those days when you wear a Jem and the Holograms sweatshirt to work, and then need not be be wearing a hot pink hoodie.
LESSON: Emergency 'serious jacket' is a good idea.
- Also, I am doing this list instead of cleaning
LESSON: oh, I so TOTALLY hate cleaning.

Cleaning is overrated, unless, of course, your family and FRIENDS are visiting.
I will continue to experience great joy from the giant tripod.
I emailed you directions from google maps from San Antonio to your house. If they seem right let me know, although I will be off email starting at about 3 PM EST until January 2.
Sigh, will you ever update this blog? Will I ever get to see the pictures you took--all FIVE of them?
