There were A LOT of 'ethnic' costumes, it was a little weird, just all at ONCE, SO MANY GIANT SOMBREROS AND PONCHOS....(although, maybe it was a good sign that there was so much of that stuff left? people did not buy it?)"geisha make-up, a Native headdress, bling, or a turban, Halloween tells us that our cultural norm is a middle-class, North American, white person."
Also, Ho
w does this costume even make sense?? It is a Playboy Hipster Witch Costume (official name)? How does that even work? Can Hipster really be successfully be combined with Playboy? (I will admit I am mostly vexed because I wanted that hat - it is so pink! and SHINY with fake patent! but it has the bunny logo and I don't really want the rest of the costume. I already have tights like that.) ....but the names, they make NO SENSE. And $77 ON SALE? You can totally buy all that separately for much cheaper in one trip to the mall. Claire's and Hot Topic can fulfill all your costume needs here.Anyway that is my shopping update.

I want you to know I bought Halloween paper towels that were on sale. Also, I was a librarian for Halloween.
...YAY. Oh, ANNE, you will become a SHOPPER YET. I am looking NOW to see if Kohl's is in Texas.
also, I demand to see a picture of you in costume.
While shopping for costumes for my nieces, I came across the "Gretchen" costume. I wasn't aware that my name came with a look. I must say, it is a look of which I am quite proud.
